Vodafone Pay As You Go 1 is set to rise by 100% in December.

What is Pay As You Go 1?

Pay As You Go 1 is the default plan when joining Vodafone Pay As You Go.  Currently the plan costs customers £1 per day when used for any call, text or data.  Once activated, the customer enjoys unlimited calls, unlimited texts and just 50MB of data for the rest of the day.  Data is then charged at £1 per 50MB thereafter.  If a customer doesn’t use their phone there is £0 charge that day.

What’s Changing?

The cost of Vodafone Pay As You Go 1 is increasing to £2 per day.  The cost of data is also increasing from £1 per 50MB to £2 per 50MB.  This represents a 100% increase.

When Do Prices Change?

The price increases takes place on 11th December 2024.  This gives people time to consider what is right for them allowing 30 days notice to change plans.

Are there better Alternatives?

If you prefer Pay As You Go, you could consider switching to a Vodafone 30 day bundle.  These offer greater value than Pay As You Go 1.
