Sky Stream – available at DPC

SKY TV’s newest service is now available at all Digital Phone Company stores across Norfolk and Suffolk! As one of an exclusive handful of retailers chosen to provide the new service on the highstreet, we are excited to share the fantastic benefits with our customers. So what is SKY Stream?

 

Stream is a tabletop hub that enables users to benefit from all SKY TV services over WIFI rather than relying on a satellite dish. Especially true for many DPC customers in more rural locations with older houses, installing a dish isn’t always possible or even allowed! Customers can now have access to all their favourite shows without re-modelling their homes.

 

Does it require waiting for an engineer to visit?

 

Not at all. In fact, there is no visit at all! Once signed up, the box (which is only slightly bigger than a beer mat) will arrive by post within 24 working hours*. Once arrived, you simply plug it into your TV, connect it to WIFI and you’ll be watching your favourite sports, movies and box sets that very day!

 

Are all my favourite channels available?

 

Absolutely! As with a SKY Q package, SKY Stream will give you access to the full suite of SKY sports and movies as well as box sets, kids shows, on demand and SKY-specific channels such as SKY Atlantic, SKY One, SKY Witness, SKY Arts and many more!

 

Is there a contract?

 

Yes, like SKY Q, there is a contract term of 18 months.

 

Can I move it to different TV’s around my house?

Yes! As it works over WIFI, it will work anywhere in your house that there is signal, meaning you can take it to bed with you at night and bring it down to breakfast with you in the morning!

 

Is it more expensive?

Not at all! Basic packages start at £23 to include hundreds of channels (including Netflix).  It doesn’t include movies and sports however other packages are available. With Netflix included it means you will access to the latest shows such as Baby Reindeer.

 

How do I sign up?

Simply pop into one of our stores and speak to one of our team about the best package for you. You will then be offered to scan a QR code where you can fill in a form on your smartphone. The whole process takes minutes and you will receive your equipment, ready to watch the following day!
